Asterysk can now use your browser for you. Give it a task in the side panel and watch it click, type and navigate, with more ways to bring text in and act on it.

Agent mode
Turn on agent mode in the side panel and Asterysk clicks, types, scrolls, navigates and switches tabs to finish tasks. A glow marks the tab it controls and its cursor glides to each click. It hands control back for logins, payment details and CAPTCHAs, asks before buying anything or sending a message, can take screenshots, and saves results as CSV, JSON, Markdown or text files.

The museum is staying up late
Late-night hours are back at the City Art Museum. The museum will stay open until midnight every Friday through the end of the year. Tickets for evening entry go on sale next week, and members get in free.
Send to Asterysk, with slash commands
Highlight text, right-click and choose Send to Asterysk. It lands in the chat as a quote you can pair with any command. New built-ins: /tldr, /explain, /translate, /rewrite, /reply, /search, /factcheck and /export, plus your own custom commands in Settings.
Side panel
A third way to open Asterysk in Chrome, Edge and Dia (a docked window in Arc). It sits beside the page and keeps one conversation as you move between tabs.

- The sidebar is now resizable by dragging its left edge
- Richer conversation history in Settings, showing agent steps, web searches, saved files and which model replied
- Send to Asterysk opens in the side panel when that's your default
- The command menu supports arrow keys and fits the space above the input

- Added Apple Foundation Models as an on-device provider. Chat with Apple Intelligence privately, no API key required
- Added a tip jar in the About sheet for anyone who wants to support development
- System prompt is now an editable persona with a saved indicator so you can see when changes are stored
- Safari extension settings now sync with the iOS app. Changes you make in one show up in the other
- iOS app polish: dedicated Search tab, deep-link to settings, copy button fixes, and alignment tweaks

- Added OpenRouter as a provider, giving you another way to use a wide range of AI models in Asterysk
- Made the chat window easier to resize. Drag from any corner to quickly fit it to the page you're reading
- Improved saved conversations so markdown responses keep their formatting when you revisit them
- Fixed OpenRouter requests so models respond more reliably through the correct chat endpoint

- Added Vercel AI Gateway as a provider. Use one API key to access models across Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, and more
- Toggle between a curated short list and the full model catalog right from the picker
- Redesigned model pickers with a searchable combobox. Type to filter, navigate with arrow keys, press Enter to select
- Searching in the chat model menu now finds matches across every configured provider, with the provider name shown next to each result
